Eftikhar Mohamed

Visual artist Iftikhar Mohammed's passion for art began in her early childhood, when she found in colors and lines a sincere expression that conveyed her feelings and vision of life. Over time, her artistic experience evolved, leading her to a rich career spanning more than 30 years, combining education with visual creativity.

She earned a Bachelor's degree in Educational Arts from the University of Bahrain (2006) and worked as an art teacher for 12 years at the Ministry of Education before devoting herself fully to art and her private studio, where she spends most of her day immersed in colors and creativity.

The artist has presented numerous works in various artistic materials, especially oil paintings, which combine purity of realism with freedom of abstraction.

She has held numerous art workshops and courses, in addition to participating in artistic and health events in Bahrain, most notably the painting "A Ray of Hope" at Salmaniya Medical Complex.

During her career, she has received numerous awards and honors, most notably:
• Gold Medal - First Place in the Sixth Doha Competition (Qatar, 1999).
• Third Place Nationally in the Regional Environment Day Competition (1998).
• Best Painting Medal at the Tenth Husseini Atelier (1436 AH).

She possesses diverse skills in using various materials, such as oil paints, acrylics, drawing, and sculpture.

She relies on dimensions and specificities in creating her oil paintings, which are primarily reflected in a deep desire to preserve the imprints of Bahraini heritage with all its cultural and human values.
