🇧🇭

I am a Bahraini fine artist from the city of Muharraq, specifically the Abu Mahir neighborhood. I draw inspiration for my artwork from childhood memories and the authentic scent of Bahraini heritage that I experienced living in the "Al-Bayt Al-Oud" (The Big House). Growing up in an environment rich in art and heritage, my father, Ibrahim Al-Dowi, played a major role in instilling my love for painting, architecture, and Bahraini identity.

My paintings reflect a deep nostalgia for the past, documenting the beauty of old houses, traditional markets, customs, and traditions that shaped my memory and soul. The sea and sunset also hold a special place in my artistic world; I adore the sea for its tranquility, depth, and vastness, and I find in moments of sunset an endless source of inspiration. Consequently, seascapes, sky colors, and sunset scenes appear frequently in many of my works.

I am a dreamer, and I believe that a painting is not merely colors and shapes, but a space that pulsates with life, love, and emotion. Through my works, I strive to convey a sincere feeling that touches the viewer, ensuring that every canvas carries a story, an emotion, and a memory—whether it is a longing for an old place, the warmth of a moment, love, or hope stretching toward the horizon.

My artwork is distinguished by the use of texture as an essential element that adds dimension, life, and a tangible tactile sense to the painting. It gives depth to the details, making the artwork feel closer and more present, as if the viewer can feel the place and the scene rather than just see it.

I hold a degree in accounting and manage my own business. I also founded the first center in Diyar Al Muharraq to support children's artistic talents and develop their creative abilities, known as "Dzi Camp." This stems from my firm belief in the importance of nurturing talent from a young age and providing children with the space to express themselves and create.

I believe that art is a message that preserves memory, conveys emotions, and connects generations to their roots and authentic heritage. Through my work, I strive to bridge nostalgia and dreams, as well as Bahrain's heritage and the beauty of nature, to create paintings that pulse with life, love, and emotion.
