Wahid Buqais is a multi-talented visual artist with extensive academic experience. He holds a Higher National Diploma from the Bahrain Training Institute and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. His artistic career began during his primary school days, where he loved art as he was born and raised in a diverse artistic environment. His talent developed with the help of an art teacher who noticed his talent for recycling materials and creating sculptures. He began his artistic career in 2006, participating in the annual Bahrain Fine Arts Exhibition held in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He participated again in the same exhibition in 2016. The artist Buqais added that the artistic movement requires the effort of fellow artists in order to keep pace with development, and that art is a message through which the artist can discuss and present many issues and visions. A successful artist is one who frequently experiments and seeks to develop himself, his abilities, and his artistic culture.
