Artwork description:

The work stems from the idea that things don't take shape all at once, but are built layer upon layer, experience upon experience. The elements of the sculpture accumulate visually, much like memories, experiences, and decisions accumulate within a person, until they ultimately form a single composition with its own distinct character. Between the weight of the stone and the delicate balance, the work becomes a meditation on how we become the sum total of what we have been through.
