Artwork description:
At the heart of this wooden sculpture lies a silent dialogue between intersecting lines and spaces that diverge only to reconnect. Its form is inspired by the idea that, no matter how far our paths diverge, humans remain bound by an invisible thread of connection.
The wood, with its natural texture and deep veins, tells the story of the land that brought us together, while the abstraction of the form opens the way for each recipient to read a different story. Yet the meaning remains the same: that connection is an indelible essence.
This sculpture does not offer a ready-made answer, but rather leaves the question hanging: Are we drawing closer to unite, or are we distancing ourselves to see the value of meeting again?
It is an artwork that echoes the philosophy of the entire exhibition: that disparity is not a barrier, but rather a bridge that broadens our horizons and deepens our ability to understand others.
