In this painting, I tried to present a silent moment, yet one brimming with life. I chose an elderly woman in front of an old sewing machine to tell us the story of a generation that accomplished much with its own hands, leaving its mark on our collective memory. The photograph placed before her represents her youth, and the painting reflects this continuity between past and present.

My message through this work is to remind us of the beauty of simplicity and the quiet strength inherent in every mother and grandmother who has lived her life giving and working.
