This is a vintage-style mixed media artwork made on a solid wooden panel. The background is painted with acrylic colors in shades of deep blue and purple. Beautiful red peony flowers, cut from delicate rice paper, look like they are floating across the surface. Gold leaf is added across the front and all around the edges to complete the vintage look. The surface has a lovely, texture that makes it feel like an antique treasure.
