In the heart of the studio, this painting stands like a three-dimensional piece of nature. Its deep, matte black background resembles an endless, eternal night, and this blackness is not merely a color, but the void that allows light to shine through. To the right of the frame, a giant sunflower emerges with striking prominence and a rich, rough texture. "Wall paste" was used to hand-carve each petal, giving it a thickness, veins, and fissures that look as real as the bark of an ancient tree. The golden and yellow petals, painted in thick acrylics, retain the marks of the carving tools, lending them an organic, handcrafted feel. The flower's center, a dark brown, textured mass, represents the seed of life, exuding a powerful contrast with the bright petals and the dark background.
