The sinful worshipper

He spun, raising his right hand towards the heavens, his left outstretched towards the earth, circling the celestial sphere, moving the cosmos.

The fool of passion found the rhythm of infatuation, adorned in ostentation, intent on hypocrisy. He spun, palms outstretched, playing the strings of liberating the soul.

The sunset reflected the color of the garment, and red cried out with sins, opposing the dance of prayer. The anklet gathered chaos into circles, replacing supplication with astonishment, and the murmuring of prayer with the curses of objection.

Yet no one stopped him, as if the sand of the hourglass had ceased to move, or eyes were bewitched by what they saw. The Seven Wonders of the World culminated in a stinging red commotion and the jingle of an anklet.

In place of prison shackles on wrists, he bound the gaze upon him.

The plea from the obscene circling is to ask the Lord without shame. The plea from the hymns of prayer is to seek the Lord without fear. Hope with a sad face, a broken heart despite the shackles of sin, a desire to live... foolish, lost, adrift, like the rest of the lovers, like the rest of the survivors... passion is his final request.
