Artwork description
This beautiful, vintage-style wooden box began its life as a simple, blank object. It was completely transformed into a unique work of art using multiple techniques.
First, layers of acrylic paint and antique patina. This was followed by molding and air-dry clay were used to create beautiful details that give the box a three dimensional, sculpted texture. Then applying the design by using an image transfer technique, and the entire piece was finished with delicate, shimmering gold leafing to highlight the details and add a touch of old-world elegance.
