Artwork description
Whispers of Lilies is a delicate floral work inspired by the quiet beauty and gentle presence of lilies. The composition focuses on the flowers and their flowing leaves, surrounded by soft, luminous colors that create a calm and dreamlike atmosphere. I wanted the work to evoke a feeling of stillness, tenderness, and connection with nature.
The artwork is created using oil pastel, with touches of soft pastel to build the soft, blended background, and oil-based colored pencils to enhance the fine details and texture. The layered combination of these materials gives the work a rich, tactile quality and a sense of gentle light.
